Day One of camp is different from the rest as we are meeting everyone, learning where all the students are at and placing them in groups. Once a musician is checked in at camp- they will go and rehearse with everyone that has their same instrument regardless of ability. The first day is a LOT of sight reading and things will go quickly - make sure your student knows this so they aren’t overwhelmed. The point of the first day is to read lots of music, sort kids into their large ensembles and settle on the pieces we will be working hard on all week long.

Day Two-Five will be full of large ensemble rehearsals, sectionals, break out sessions, and more!

Musicians will grow in their sight-reading skills, basic techniques, listening in ensembles and their all-around music skills!
